As a Director we ensure that staff are well-trained and adhere to company policies, NDIS guidelines, and government regulations. This involves regular staff performance reviews, providing ongoing professional development, and ensuring compliance with mandatory training. For participants, maintaining individualized care plans that meet their needs while following NDIS and legal requirements is crucial. Service delivery should be continuously monitored to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with policies. Regular audits, risk assessments, and feedback loops from participants ensure the company maintains high standards and stays compliant with evolving regulations and best practices.

As a general supervisor, we ensure staff are adequately trained, and supported, and comply with company policies and NDIS regulations. We must promote a positive, inclusive work environment and address any performance issues. We ensure participants’ care plans are followed, advocate for their needs, and monitor progress. We pay keen attention to service delivery that should be given to maintaining high-quality care, meeting participant goals, and ensuring safety. We maintain regular communication with staff and participants, assessing service effectiveness, and resolving issues promptly are essential to maintaining service standards and compliance.

As Human Resource Manager is my responsibility for ensuring a safe and respectful work environment for employees, and participants, which includes providing proper training, support, and resources. We advocate for the well-being and rights of participants by ensuring staff are appropriately qualified and trained, by conducting background checks, and implementing NDIS and ACSA policies to protect our staff and vulnerable individuals. We are proactive in preventing discrimination, ensuring compliance with regulations, and addressing any concerns promptly to uphold the highest standards of care and professionalism for both employees and participants.

​My role as a supervisor in Supported Independent Living (SIL), we assist individuals with disabilities in maintaining their independence while ensuring safety and well-being. My roles include making sure that we are providing support with daily activities, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting. We make sure to help manage medications, coordinate healthcare services, and offer guidance on personal goals and decision-making. We also monitor progress, foster social interaction, advocate for the individual’s rights, and adjust support plans as needed to ensure the person’s needs are met and their independence is promoted.
